Motorola is back with the new budget King
Motorola in its prime time launched some really great budget smartphones. I remember recommending G5 plus to many of my friends and they are still using that. But then Chinese smartphones flood came in and the competition got stiff. Motorola lost its crown Honor, then Xiaomi, realme, and now all smartphones seem pretty alike.
What makes Motorola One Fusion Plus so special? The device is priced at 16999INR in India. Now let’s take a deep dive into its review-
Performance and Battery
Performance is the first thing that I look at on a smartphone. Motorola One Fusion+ is powered by Snapdragon 730G which is the fastest processor in this price segment smartphones. Snapdragon 730G smartphones cost up to 25K+ in India. This Processor marks the end of processor comparison. Now as for Operating System we have Android 10 near to stock experience. No bloatware makes the smartphone even smoother. 5000mAH battery is enough to take you through a day or even two. 18W turbocharging will get you 0-100% in about 100-120 min.
Camera and Speakers
The Second Comparison is about the camera always. The Moto One Fusion+ comes with a 64MP quad-camera setup. 64+8+5+2. 64MP main sensor which can record 4K @ 30fps and delivers Competitive Camera quality. You also have slow motion, image stabilization, and many other features that enhance the overall photography experience. Other Cameras are ultra-wide and macro and depth. Ultra-Wide and Macro Vision can record up to FHD @ 30fps. The device features industry-leading Hifi speakers with up to 4x bass boost and two mics for studio-quality audio recording. So, Overall it’s a perfect deal. and Don’t forget about the Moto Camera app features.
Design and Display
Motorola One Fusion Plus Comes with a 6.5inch FullHD+ display. The Popup selfie camera makes the display even more stunning. The edge to edge display covers 91% of the body. Though the display is not AMOLED still good. Talking about the back panel. Motorola gives you two color options one blue and another white. Both of them are stunning. The back panel shines. The Fingerprint sensor with an embedded logo is an addition to the beauty of this device.
Experience
The Motorola One Fusion Plus is compact at 6.5″ compared to its competitor and is also lightweight. The overall experience in terms of usability will be great. I guess this is the perfect alternative to Samsung Galaxy M31 with better design and a more powerful processor. There is a new feature Known as MY UX which seems to be just Moto customization integrated into the software like Samsung experience.
Verdict
If I were to choose the overall best smartphone in this price segment Moto One Fusion + is my choice. Because I like Compact and powerful smartphones. Motorola offers all that. Having better speakers than average doesn’t hurt. The tagline is really true “the ultimate one”. Still, you won’t get 5G in the budget. It will take a couple more months. Thanks for reading. Stay Safe! Stay Humble!.
Various other phones are also launching soon in the mid-range segment and one of them is the OnePlus Z which could be a good contender against the Motorola One Fusion Plus and other like POCO and Realme though it’ll be on a higher side then all of these. It is rumoured to land in India with a price tag of Rs. 25,000 around. Check out more details regarding it here.
