BTS is a world class K-pop band from South Korea loved by millions. It has amassed a ton load of fan following through out the years since its inception i.e. 2010. For loyal die-hard fans or BTS ARMY, we need not tell them about BTS but for starters, BTS is a seven boy K-pop band also known as “Bangtan Boys” which have been releasing blockbuster hit songs one after another.
Started out as trainees, the members have rised to being the most popular boy group the world has ever seen. A great sense of storyline in their songs and a unique take on social issues sets them apart from other K-pop bands which the audience has come to love about them.
With such a popularity, brands and corporates have always looked forward to hiring the BTS band in return of massive exposure of their brand, products to the fans around the world. On the audience side of things too there has always been a mist of excitement as to which is the next product or promotional material they will get to see that particular “BTS” logo.
Endorsing the sensational band is no joke. A full fledged and long-term campaign is setup which includes huge amounts of investments (obviously a massive pay for the goodwill they bring in) which only the top brands of the world can afford.
With that being said, in this post we will acknowledge you about the collaborations and endorsements of BTS with tech companies of the world. Spoiler alert – 3 of them in this list are from South Korea itself.
Hyundai X BTS
Hyundai NEXO
From time to time, Hyundai has grabbed the opportunity to work with BTS and carry out campaigns for their core product – Cars. This makes pure sense since both originate from Korea and with going hand in hand, a worldwide exposure for both is guaranteed.
The latest campaign from the collab to make its way is ‘Because Of You’ which aims for environmental friendly and sustainable technology cars under the branding “NEXO”.
Hyundai NEXO is a hydrogen-powered FCEV (Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle) with a range of 609km from a single fueling (Korean certification standards). Its perk is that, it only emits pure H₂O by fitting a filtration system which filters the air by removing 99.9% micro particles. This innovative EV is a solution for a vehicle emission-free Earth.
Hyundai IONIQ
Talk about exclusives, BTS launched an exclusive song dedicated to the Hyundai IONIC, which is the car makers another take on electric vehicles back in 2016. Since then, BTS and Hyundai have come together on several car projects. Over the years, IONIQ has seen many new variants launch and the latest one is most likely to come in India by the end of 2021.
LG X BTS
Another exclusive collab with a smartphone brand then, LG hired the K-pop boys for the promotion of LG G7 smartphones which turned out to be a success especially in the home country i.e. South Korea. Not only that, BTS was signed to be the global mobile brand ambassadors which in turn made BTS ARMY go awe especially in the western countries. This helped LG penetrate to more countries with BTS on their back and fans checking out their latest smartphones such as LG G7 ThinQ.
But you know what? This collaboration makes perfect sense since LG was a renowned brand known for its music features to attract audiophiles like dedicated chip for the 3.5mm jack to boost the music listening experience. Therefore, this collab goes hand in hand very well.
Fast forward to this day, LG smartphones is no more due to lingering burdens of poor sales of its smartphones which made it to exit the market marking an end of an era. Once being the biggest rival in the phone world, couldn’t catch up with the market trend without any proper strategy.
Which obviously breaks all the tie-ups with existing brands including BTS which probably didn’t work out anyway with and after LG G8 series. Nonetheless, the partnership (for that period of time) yielded good results for the now dead smartphone manufacturer
Samsung X BTS
Another smartphone brand to join hands with BTS is none other than Samsung. The tie-up is so immersive that a limited edition “Galaxy S21+ BTS Edition” also made its debut.
Surely any BTS fan out there would dream to lay hands on one or even better, own one. The phone implements the signature purplish colour of BTS with obviously the logo and small little heart on the camera layout giving it a touch of love, from BTS boys. In case you’re in India and want one, you can buy officially from Samsung website. Apart from the limited edition phone, BTS have promoted other Galaxy S phones in the lineup too such as Galaxy S20 FE but no limited edition for the same.
The collaboration stint continues in 2021 too with the Galaxy S21 series and we hope an exclusive and limited edition variant also comes out for the said phones.
What can be more better than world’s #1 Android phone brand joining hands with #1 K-pop band. That’s how huge and impact-full this tie up is.

You may find tons of accessories with BTS logos, colour palletes, merchandise but talk about official accessories, that’s where Casetify comes into the play.
